Intermediate Symphony Orchestra
Led by Mr. Jin Zhang, the VYSO Intermediate Orchestra educates at an intermediate to advanced level, introducing musicians to the the full symphony orchestra experience. The orchestra performs original classical orchestra works, with fun forays into other musical styles.

Volunteer Commitment
Volunteers are vital to the health and success of the VYSO, which is a non-profit community organization. We rely on the generous volunteer participation of members and their families throughout the concert season. Volunteering can be immensely rewarding—wonderful friendships are forged, and parent volunteers set a positive example for their musicians.
2024-2025 Season
We ask for a 5-hour annual commitment from each family, which can be fulfilled by musicians and/or family members.
